Homeowners are encouraged to make improvements to their properties. This helps maintain the aesthetics of the community and can increase the value of our homes. The ACC is a volunteer committee of homeowners responsible for reviewing proposed changes to homeowners' properties to ensure the changes comply with the Village Green HOA governing documents and will fit with the aesthetics of the neighborhood.
Homeowners are responsible for submitting an ACC Application form for any exterior changes being made to their lot / home. This includes house paint, landscaping changes, roof replacements, deck installments, driveway expansions, fencing, sheds, etc. See the ACC Guidelines below for more information.
If the project you plan to do is going to be a simple repair where everything stays the same as before (i.e., color, material, dimensions, etc.), then you may continue without submitting an ACC Application form.
If a project is done without ACC approval, you may be required to change everything back to the original state. ACC reviews may take up to 30 days, so be sure to plan and submit your application to obtain approval before scheduling with a contractor.
All changes to the exterior of your home or lot must be approved by the ACC prior to installation. Please see the ACC Guidelines and Application Form below. Applications may be sent to: vghoa27acc@gmail.com.
